NOT TO WORRY EVERYBODY! But people in the US buying things from Japan should know this. As of November 17th, for an indeterminate amount of time, the only shipping option available is by BOAT!
However, Good Squid Discs CAN STILL SEND PACKAGES TO THE US BY EMS, SAL, OR AIRMAIL! I am able to do so because I have a special registered account with Japan Post. If your supplier of Japanese goods has not been registered with Japan Post for at least 30 days, that supplier will not be able to send items to you quickly. Repeat - Good Squid Discs is unaffected by this change! Other suppliers very well may only be able to send things to the US by boat. Delivery by boat takes 2-3 months, so if you need something before Christmas, feel free to ask Good Squid for help!
The US has asked the Japanese government to instate this rule because of the moron terrorists sending bombs in the mail. Dumbass terrorists ruining it for everyone again! Nobody at Japan Post can give me any time frame for how long this rule will be in effect, so who knows when it will be back to normal. In the meantime, carry on and keep calm!
